Manitoba has invited 443 immigrant candidates to file for a provincial nomination to begin the year.

CIC News : The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) allowed people to apply for three different Provincial Nominee Programs in Manitoba (PNPs). The number of invites sent out for each programme, as well as the minimal score cutoff set by the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system, are listed below:

357 invitations with a minimum score of 459; 53 invitations with a minimum score of 711; and 33 invitations with no score criteria for skilled workers in Manitoba.
97 of these invites were sent to people who applied through the Express Entry procedure.

Sub-title: Concerning Express Entry

The Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program are all part of Express Entry, which is Canada’s application management system for three federal high-skilled immigration programmes.

The Comprehensive Ranking System is used to rate immigration prospects who submit a profile to the Express Entry system (CRS). Age, job experience, education, and language abilities, among other things, are all given points. Through regular Express Entry lotteries, the highest-scoring individuals are invited to apply for permanent residency.

By applying immediately through Express Entry, it is possible to bypass the PNP procedure and get a permanent residency invitation. A provincial nomination, on the other hand, earns applicants an automatic 600 CRS points, practically ensuring that they will obtain an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a later Express Entry lottery.

The MPNP, which supports immigration applications to the federal government, is in charge of Manitoba’s immigration programmes. Provinces in Canada do not have the authority to grant permanent residency, although they can assist an application by giving provincial nominations.

If you wish to be considered for a nomination in Manitoba, you must first submit an Expression of Interest to the MPNP. This qualifies you for a LAA through the Manitoba Skilled Workers and Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas programmes.

Manitoba then assigns a score out of 1,000 to candidates based on their human capital and ties to the province.

The Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba categories are intended to help Manitoba find applicants who fit the province’s labour market requirements.

Candidates from outside of Manitoba must demonstrate ties to the province, such as close family ties, prior experience in the province, or an invitation through one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives. To be eligible, you do not need to live in Manitoba at the time of your application.

You must have a full-time employment offer from a provincial company to be eligible for an invitation under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category.

If they can demonstrate that they have in-demand abilities, international graduates who complete their studies in Manitoba may be eligible for an invitation under the International Education Stream.
